LOS ANGELES April 8, 2010 – Reliam, Inc. a leading provider of complex application hosting and Internet Application Management (IAM), announced today the successful implementation of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Digital Asset Management application to new development and production environments within the Reliam Network. Reliam was able to provide the Academy with a custom architecture and storage area network to support their internal DAM application. This deployment included Reliam’s IAM services including custom configurations of Tomcat and Jboss application servers, installation and configuration of Solaris environments, and collaboration with the Artesia and Oracle teams for a seamless cutover. In addition, Reliam acts as the first level Rapid Support gateway for all know system issues, Advanced Monitoring solution for operating system, hardware and application level monitoring, and continuing management of the DAM application. Utilizing just a few of Reliam’s custom offerings has allowed The Academy to upgrade to a more stable platform and environment allowing them to provide crucial services to their members without effecting availability along the way.
