By transitioning over their systems operations, RightsLine could invest more on research and development and spend less on hardware services and management. After careful review RightsLine chose Reliam to manage their critical web applications.
Solution and Benefits
Reliam’s team of highly advanced Internet Application Engineers designed and implemented a hybrid architecture consisting of a fully virtualized web application tier working together with dedicated resources. The Reliam team performed in-depth application server configurations and implemented a fully virtualized Demo and QA environment to ensure that all applications and development processes run smoothly. Reliam also layered its Internet Application Management (IAM) services on top of hosting services to provide in-depth support for a comprehensive solution. By providing superior technical expertise and assistance in migrating RightsLine application to a Windows 2008/IIS7 based architecture; the Reliam team was able to provide a solution that was comprehensive and solid. Once the application was migrated to Windows 2008/IIS7, an automated system was created to assist with application deployments and management/replication of configuration changes to a n-server application tier architecture.
The transition from RightsLine internal hosting to using Reliam’s platform was seamless. There was no downtime required for the transition. RightsLine is now able to bring greater value to their clients by increased revenue streams through a streamlined licensing process. The RightsLine team is able to focus on their core competencies of increased accelerated implementation, asset configuration, and customized configuration templates. Through R&D RightsLine can bring to market more efficient business solutions for the Intellectual Property space.
