Reliam provided Renesan Software with a fully redundant architecture in a SAS 70 certified data center combined with a dedicated team of professionals to support the launch of Renesan's EMR Software, fully managed by Reliam to provide new levels of service to dialysis patients and economic benefits to physicians.
The Challenge
Renesan Software developed Access Manager© and Dialysis Manager© for dialysis units and access centers to seamlessly combine form and functionality into an easy to use product that is indispensable to all physicians caring for dialysis patients. With built-in K/DOQI and other reporting tools, the software helps dialysis units maintain a proactive continuous quality improvement program. This mission critical solution requires a tier IV data center with healthcare specific certifications (SAS70 and HIPAA).
The Solution
The EMR internet application is managed by Reliam to provide Renesan clients with continuous internet visibility, accessibility, and reporting tools worldwide. This solution includes a customized and fully redundant configuration, reliable network, and SAS70 and HIPAA Tier IV certified data center. As a result of Renesan’ partnership with Reliam, Renesan is able to complement its’ strategic services with reliable internet and application management services to provide superior levels of service to dialysis patients. Additionally, under The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, physicians are eligible to receive $45,000 to $65,000 to assist with the cost associated with adopting HIT, (Health Information Technology).
